I’m Nick Carlson, a photographer based in Blacksburg, Virginia. I’m currently studying Multimedia Journalism at Virginia Tech, where I serve as the Lead Photography Intern for Virginia Tech Athletics capturing sports emotion.

I am the lead photographer at Virginia Tech Motorsports, documenting the team’s process on and off the track. 

I previously interned for the Winston-Salem Dash and currently freelance for Salem College.

I’m available for freelance and willing to travel.
