I'm Nick Carlson, a photographer based in Blacksburg, Virginia. I'm studying Multimedia Journalism at Virginia Tech, where I serve as the Lead Photography Intern for Virginia Tech Athletics, capturing the emotion and intensity of collegiate sports.
This past summer, I worked as a Traveling Communications Intern for the American Junior Golf Association, covering championship tournaments on-site with photo, video, live social updates, and website articles. Previously, I interned with the Winston-Salem Dash, and I currently freelance for Salem College Athletics.I also work as the photographer for Virginia Tech Motorsports, documenting the team's process both on and off the track.I'm available for freelance work and willing to travel.
